United Financial of Illinois, Inc. is an equipment finance company incorporated in Illinois in December of 1986. The company has experienced over twenty years of consistent revenue growth, originating and placing in excess of $2 billion in transaction financings. United Financial provides vendor oriented, structured equipment financing, with programs designed to meet the unique requirements of tax-exempt municipal issuers, taxable commercial enterprises, and federal government agencies.

United Financial provides equipment acquisition financing through indirect vendor origination sources. Financing is obtained through strategically structured relationships with insurance companies and small and intermediate size banks. United Financial currently holds contracts with a number of vendor clients that are rated investment grade by investors rating services. The underlying obligors are high-quality credits and include municipal agencies (school districts, universities, hospitals, judicial systems) and U.S. Federal Government Agencies (NASA, VA, DOD, U.S. Post Office, Department of Treasury, and others).

United Financial has standardized program documentation by utilizing Master Agreements. The Master Agreements, along with individual transaction schedules and supporting documents, are reviewed by United Financial's in-house and outside legal counsel to ensure accuracy and completeness. This comprehensive legal review helps United Financial deliver a sound and secure financing transaction to its investor participants.

United Financial has established relationships with major U.S. equipment manufacturers and vendors offering turnkey project financing for a variety of equipment and services. Typically, equipment costs range from $500 thousand to $25 million, with terms ranging from 2 to 25 years. Equipment financed includes:
